Are You Fit?
Being physically fit is very
important for many different reasons.
Your self-esteem, mobility, bodily
functions, and general overall health.
You also owe it to yourself to remain
fit to protect yourself and your loved
ones.
How do you know your current fitness
status? Well, in our minds we
often see ourselves as the same active
people we were in our youth. Do
you remember when you played tennis
every weekend, went on weekend hikes in
the mountains, walked to raise money for
a cause like breast cancer? The
reality is that we are really not the
same. Over time we let ourselves
go. We become complacent and
sedentary in our offices and behind our
computers.
When it comes to needing strength and
energy to protect yourself where do you
stand?
There are a few easy tests to take to
assess your current condition. Check yourself according
Presidential Challenge. Here are a
couple of links to test yourself with at the
National Institute of Health and the
National Heart Lung and Blood Institute.
